share their commitment to inspire you to achieve and exceed your health and
wellness goals.
Jennifer Smith
Mike's personal experience includes directing strength
and conditioning programs for athletes at the collegiate level, patients in
the physical rehabilitation field and with the general public in group and
individual settings. He has completed a
Masters
degree in
Exercise Science at
the
Mike founded Absolute Fitness in 1998 and is the fulfillment of his vision to increase awareness and access to this revolutionary personal training approach. Over the years, this vision has expanded to educating people about achieving optimal health - a lifestyle of total well-being: physical, emotional and spiritual. He presently resides in Trivoli with his wife Dawn and family.
Jeff has been with Absolute Fitness for five years and is a certified personal trainer through the National Council on Strength & Fitness and the American Sports and Fitness Association. He has trained and helped hundreds of clients reach their potential and continues to push them forward on the road to optimum fitness. Jeff is a lifelong resident of Peoria.
Rachael has a doctorate degree
in Physical
Therapy from the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science at
Jon has been instructing clients at
Absolute Fitness since 1999. He has an
education in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College of Natural
Health and is a
Certified Fitness Trainer
through the International Sports Science
Association (ISSA).
Jennifer Smith, CPT
Jennifer holds a bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Illinois University. Her academic minor was in the field of Business Administration. She is a Certified MedX Rehabilitative Technician - with an emphasis on spinal rehabilitation. Jennifer has had extensive training in the exercise philosophy and protocol taught and prescribed at Absolute Fitness. Her professional experience includes one-on-one and group exercise instruction in the areas of fitness and physical rehabilitation.
She also has many years of teaching children activities such as: water safety, swim lessons and tennis lessons. Other youth activities include day camps and field trips. Jennifer's husband Matt and son live in Peoria.
